My Teenage Prayers

Yes, I encountered challenges as a youth. But the Bible continually became my guide and encouragement. When I encountered worldly magazines and novels that portrayed immorality as normal, I made a deliberate choice to protect my mind.
I realized that to keep pure, I had to avoid materials that didn't align with God's word. This decision helped me tremendously and kept me focused on my faith.

As I encountered worldly materials that did not align with God's word, I made a conscious decision to guard what I read. I realized I had to be selective about the books and magazines I consumed, avoiding those that portrayed immorality as normal.
Setting Boundaries
At age 19, I wrote a journal of purity in my diary. This wasn't just about avoiding sin—it was about setting principles and boundary lines to protect myself from sexual sin. It required being in the right company of people and listening to mentors who had journeyed through teenagehood.
Building My Support System
God surrounded me with support systems throughout my teenage years. I learned to obey instructions from the elderly, pray fervently, and trust in God's grace. These support systems were crucial to keeping me grounded in my faith and my convictions.
A Message to Young People Today
It's like God surrounded me with support systems all through my teenage years. Don't underestimate your prayer as a teenager. Keep praying. Keep trusting in God. He is faithful, and His grace is sufficient for every challenge you face.
